Paediatric Wing to Be Named after Marshall

Prince George, B.C.-Something very out of the ordinary will take place at the University Hospital of Northern B.C. this afternoon.
Brent Marshall,the General Manager of the Northland Chrysler/Jeep dealership in Prince George, will be honoured for his dealership's and his personalcontributions to the paediatricwing atUHNBC.
The paediatric wing will benamed in his honour.
This isa very unusualoccurrence, one which has caught Marshall off guard. "I have been toldthisis the firstsuch namingwithinNorthern Health, and Ireallydidn'texpect it" says Marshall.
With two children oftheir own, the Marshall?s have beensolid supporters of the paediatricunit.His dealership has donated $1.1 million dollars over the past 5 years, andhe and wife Kali have personally donatedabout $80 thousand."We sold a piece of land, and donated the proceeds to the outside play area of the paediatric ward."
Provincial Minister of Health Kevin Falcon,Minister of Forests, Mines and Lands Pat Bell, and Minister of Transportation and Infrastructure, Shirley Bond will be on hand for the officialnaming of the wing.
Marshallis just 37, and his hard word andcommunity commitment areshowing through in other areas as well.He was informed recently that his dealership has been nominated by theCanadian Automobile Dealership Association asdealership of the year,an honour that is usuallygiven to someone far senior inage anddealership experience. "They ( the CADA) told me I am the youngest to ever be nominated for thisaward,
it's just amazing."
